BIO
Burcu Güney is a multi-disciplinary artist, writer and educator. She works in music, theatre and literature and teaches workshops and individual sessions for performers and educators on efficient and creative use of voice.
Her speciality is voice and live performance,
but she keeps exploring different forms to enhance her practice of contemporary storytelling. Her creative work is socially conscious and often political, seeking to
convey broader social stories through
personal struggles.
Burcu is a Graduate Teaching Fellow at the University of Lincoln. She completed her MA in Creative Writing in 2023 and is currently working towards her PhD in Performing Arts.
